About this event
In this 6-week course, students build a strong technical foundation in aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, and lighting while exploring how those tools influence mood, storytelling, and personal style. Each week introduces technical concepts and then applies them through creative exercises designed to help students begin developing their own visual language. Student Provided Materials ● Camera with manual controls ● Charged batteries + memory card or film if using film camera ● Laptop or tablet for editing About the Instructor: Jordana Dale's work blurs the line between fashion and fine art. She is drawn to the quiet, in-between moments. Since earning her BFA in 2014, her work has been exhibited in galleries, and published in The Photographic Journal, Sticks and Stones, Mith Magazine, and others. Based in Atlanta, she creates portraits that are intimate, conceptually driven, and emotionally resonant.
