If you have some experience with drawing and/or painting and are ready to take your skills to the next level, this is the class for you! An artist creates a series of works to explore a concept, try new techniques, and/or experiment with color combinations. Over the course of 10 weeks, you will create a series of three works. The subject, materials, and goals depend on where you are on your art journey and where you want to go! What is the best focus for you? How do you want to develop your artwork? What materials or techniques do you want to experiment with? The first class will be used to explore your ideas, brainstorm possibilities, and create compositional studies. I will demonstrate basic experiments in watercolor and acrylic throughout the 10 weeks. You will develop/experiment at your own pace each work with support and help when desired. There is no pressure except what you put on yourself to finish or even start all 3 works. Please check your registration confirmation email for a link to the class supply list.
