If you have some experience with drawing and/or painting and are ready to take your skills to the next level, this is the class for you! In eight weeks you will create a series of three works. An artist creates a series of works to explore a concept, try new techniques, and/or experiment with color combinations. The subject, materials and goals depend on where you are on your art journey and where you want to go! In this point of time, what is the best focus for you? How do want to develop your artworks? What materials or techniques do you want to experiment with? The first class will be used to explore your ideas, brainstorm possibilities, and create compositional studies. I will demonstrate basic experiments in watercolor and acrylic throughout the 8 weeks. The following classes you will develop/experiment at your own pace each work with support and help when desired.
