Leadership & Social Intelligence Workshop Led by Debra Lassiter and April McLean, Perfectly Polished, Inc. This workshop helps students develop confidence, poise, and the people skills that open doors in school and beyond. Under the guidance of Debra Lassiter and April McLean of Perfectly Polished, Inc., participants will explore the 7 Elements of a Great Introduction (posture, eye contact, confident leadership voice, handshake, introducing yourself, standing, and smiling) while practicing meeting and greeting, conversation skills, and self-esteem building. Engaging lessons in table manners, setting the table, and American-style dining—plus a fun introduction to social dance—prepare students to carry themselves with ease in both formal and everyday settings. Beyond etiquette, students learn how to project confidence and authority, create a positive personal image, and navigate elementary, middle, and high school environments—skills that translate to life in a global society. Emphasis is placed on social intelligence (“people skills”) as a foundation for success, with interactive classes focused on excellence, leadership, and practical strategies students can apply immediately. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Leadership upon completion, recognizing their growth in leadership, social confidence, and character.
