Description
Photographing the natural beauty of spring, this 4th installment of Potomac Overlook’s new adult art workshop series will get us out into the park to learn about new ways to take photos of natural objects and creatures! We will be joined by a guest instructor, NOVA Parks own Roving Naturalist, Matt Felperin, whose photography has recently been featured in National Geographic! No need for a high-end camera; this class will be good for any sort of digital device that can take pictures, i.e. phones, tablets, or digital cameras. Participants will learn pro tips on setting up your scene, finding the best angle, and how to use lighting to make your subject stand out. Light refreshments will be provided.- Program Fee: $20 per participant for ages 18 and up. No children or pets permitted.
- Participants: Any attendee is considered a participant.
- Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PREREGISTER. Drop-ins will not be accepted.
- Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for the walk from the parking lot to meet at the nature center.
If you are sick or exhibiting any symptoms, please call the nature center at 703-528-5406 and we will cancel your registration and issue you a full refund.
