About this event
Description
As part of our Great Backyard Bird Count programs, we will observe and count the variety of birds that can be found along the Trail as we walk to the Beaver Creek bridge. Guest educator and birder extraordinaire, Larry Zoller of the Wake Audubon Society, will be our guide. Bring your own binoculars if you have them, but we will have some pairs available to borrow. Total walking distance will be about 1.5 miles on a crushed gravel surface. For all ages, but best for 6 and up. Meet at the New Hill parking area near the restrooms.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and all participants (children and adults) must be registered in our online system. No pets except service animals permitted at programs.
