This hands-on genealogy course replaces slide decks with real research. Bring your laptop, your questions, and your brick walls. The class works live—together—to find ancestors, analyze records, and build evidence in real time. Participation is free online and includes keynote guest speakers, practical DNA test analysis, global research in U.S. and international records, and fifty concrete ways to use AI for transcription, translation, record analysis, hypothesis testing, and narrative building. This is a working lab that meets twice a month, where participants research their own ancestors during class, compare strategies, and learn by doing. Expect real progress, clear next steps, and skills you can immediately use on your own.
