Description

An overview describing how the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system works, why and how it operates the way it does, the background and history of the air traffic control system, and why things are done the way they are done. Appropriate real-life examples are used to illustrate the reasoning behind procedures used by air traffic controllers and why it is so difficult to recruit and train new controllers. This class is taught by Bill Smith.
