Adult. Join us for a captivating weekend of tango mastery with renowned dancers Daniela Roig and Hernán Prieto, hosted by Ann Arbor Rec & Ed and Tango Experience Ann Arbor. Immerse yourself in the passion and elegance of this captivating dance form through an intensive workshop that caters to all levels of tango enthusiasts.

Daniela & Hernán have been teaching and performing tango for more than 15 years. They were part of the exclusive staff of La Viruta (the most famous milonga in Buenos Aires), working with some of the best known "Maestros". For many years, they owned a Tango School in Chicago where, besides teaching regular classes, they also hosted workshops, weekly milongas and prácticas, welcoming tangueros from all around the world.

As a result of these incredible and diverse experiences, they have developed their own unique style, which expresses their joy, appreciation, and true love for the tango. Don't miss out on this incredible learning and social experience!

Saturday, July 18th:
12 Noon - 1:15 PM Class 1. Topic: Leader & follower technique.
1:15 - 1:30 PM 15 minute break
1:30 - 2:45 PM Class 2. Topic: Tango
2:45 - 3:00 PM 15 minute break
3:00 - 4:15 PM Class 3. Topic: Milonga
4:15 - 9:00 PM Dinner break
9:00 PM - 1:00 AM Community Milonga at Arthur Murray Ann Arbor, 6075 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor DJ: TBD. Featuring a performance by Daniela and Hernán. Open to all. Included in the workshop pass. $18 for anyone not holding a pass.
