Grades 10th - Adult. Don’t let that Easter ham go to waste! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to transform your holiday leftovers — especially the ham bone and rendered fat — into a rich, comforting bowl of homemade ramen. Japanese native and community food educator Kori Kanayama will guide you step-by-step as you build your own flavorful broth from scratch.
Noodles, seasonings, and fresh vegetable toppings are provided, along with recipes and instructions so you can recreate the magic at home. Each participant will prepare their own broth in class and enjoy a steaming bowl of ramen before heading home with approximately four servings of broth, noodles, and toppings.
Please bring: your leftover Easter ham, ham bone, any rendered fat, and separate containers for transporting broth, noodles, and toppings. Register a second person for $69. Instructor: Kori Kanayama. 1 class.
