Description

Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details.

Grades 10 - Adult. Grab a hook and join us for an evening of creativity and community! In this welcoming, beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn a simple crochet stitch while making 7" x 9" crochet blocks. We will assemble our blocks into blankets for people in need — so every stitch you make truly matters. Blankets will be donated to Safe House Ann Arbor and Avalon Housing.

New to crochet? Perfect! We’ll walk you through the basics step-by-step. Already have some experience? Come relax, socialize, and put your skills to work for a good cause. All yarn is provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring a crochet hook (we’ll have a few extras available if you need one).

No pressure, no perfection required — just good company, cozy yarn, and the chance to turn a simple craft into real warmth for someone else. Instructor: Coleen Farrell and Erica Humphrey from Jax & Belle Designs. Sign up for both dates at once and save $5! (Series: ID# 1984.501).

Residents in the AAPS district boundaries ages 65+ may be eligible for a 25% discount off one class per term. Registration must be completed over the phone (734) 994-2300 ext. 0, Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. Please click on the following link for more information: Senior Adult Discount Policy
