Grades 10th - Adult. Level 1- 4. The Re-Integrated Leg: restore your knees through your hips & feet. The solution to knee pain often lies beyond the knee itself. In this 8-week series, we will look beyond the "hinge" of the joint to re-organize the feet and hips for better mobility and dynamic support. We will explore how improved balance sets the stage for better biomechanics, significantly reducing wear and tear on the knees. Using the Feldenkrais Method®, we will explore gentle, functional movement patterns that refine the way you move for greater efficiency and comfort.
The instructor knows firsthand how frustrating knee issues can be—and how life-changing it is to find a way out of that cycle. He has transitioned from a long history of chronic knee pain to walking, hiking, and running comfortably using these very tools. Dale is excited to show you how to do the same. An audio recording will be provided after each class for home practice and in the event that you need to miss a live class. Please have a mat or blanket and 3 folded towels. Instructor: Dale Jensen, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. 7 classes. No class 5/5. (6/9 reserved for makeup class).
