Grades 7th-Adult. Bridge is a fun yet complex game to learn and play and is played by millions worldwide. The class is taught by Ray Gentz, a member of the American Contract Bridge League. Each session will have one hour of lecture with a small break, a few more minutes of lecture and then the last half hour will be for play/practice with hands that go with the lesson of the evening. Enrollees are to get the text “Bidding in the 21st Century” by Audrey Grant (300+ pgs.). (the one with a tan cover and light green club symbol is best). Enrollees should note that there is a fair amount of memorization involved in learning the system taught in the text along with scoring, strategies and formulas and that the class is 10 weeks. It is important to strive to attend at least 9 of the 10 sessions to get the most benefit from the class. This is the first of a 2 semester series depending on attendance. Instructor: Ray Gentz. 10 classes.

Residents in the AAPS district boundaries ages 65+ may be eligible for a 25% discount off one class per term. Registration must be completed over the phone (734) 994-2300 ext. 0, Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. Please click on the following link for more information: Senior Adult Discount Policy
