Description
The City of Alpharetta, City of Roswell, and Fulton County will be hosting a water testing workshop on October 21st! Become a certified Georgia Adopt-A-Stream water monitoring volunteer! This workshop will cover Chemical monitoring. At the end of this workshop, with the completion of a written test, volunteers will be certified to perform Chemical testing for one year. Chemical monitoring: Chemical monitors test the water's temperature, pH level, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen level. A written quiz must be passed to complete certification. Once certified, you can adopt sites convenient for you to monitor monthly. Please bring a notebook, pen, water, and prepare to be outside. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
