---Instructor: Frank Shutts--- So, you want to be a director. Now what? Perhaps you've been tasked with directing a show for your school. This course is an overview of the skills necessary to be a director and how to develop the tools of the trade. After learning script analysis and how to work with actors and designers, creating a concept, the ins and outs of the audition and rehearsal processes, blocking, polishing, hell week, and performances, the students in this class will direct my acting students in short plays presented for an invited audience on Friday, May 1 & Saturday, May 2 Class will meet bi-weekly through 4/26, then should be prepared to keep evenings the week of April 26th free for rehearsals.)
