About this event
---Instructor: Carol Jean Clark--- "Two fams, both lowkey on fleek with each other in skibity Ohio where it goes down." -Brainrot written by student. Translation: "Two households, both alike in dignity, in fair Verona where we lay our scene." -Prologue, Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare can feel unrelatable when you don't understand the language. Through this week long course, students will gain a deeper understanding by translating Shakespearean scenes, sonnets, and monologues into something they do relate to - brainrot! They will confuse every adult in the room as they perform these translated works at the end of the week... but don't worry, even then, the secrets of what "6-7" means will still be a mystery!
