---Instructor: Keely Kirk--- This continuing-level class focuses on strengthening your stage presence and advancing your improv and presentation skills. Building on the foundation of Improv Levels 1–3, you'll work with your instructor to evaluate and elevate your comedic instincts and intelligent choices to the next level of performance. Instruction will center on key performance components, including ensemble work, making believable character choices, and effectively engaging an audience. You’ll also refine your stage presence, vocal projection, physicality, and spatial awareness. A strong emphasis will be placed on developing "group mind"—the collective intuition that fuels successful ensemble work. Through vulnerability, trust, and unconditional support of your scene partners, you’ll deepen both your individual performance and your connection to the group. In addition, you’ll be introduced to foundational structures and techniques for performing long-form improv formats. Participants should be comfortable moving through the space and responding to visual and auditory cues from fellow performers. A final showcase performance will be scheduled and confirmed once the class begins.
