ACSC’s Adult Learn to Sail Class will teach you how to sail a small sailing dinghy in protected water and build your skills for bigger sailing adventures. Two weekend days, 12 hours of training, certified instructors, personal flotation devices, dinghy boats, and plenty of learning hilarity provided! Come join us! Class Length: 1 Weekend per Session Days: Saturday / Sunday Hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm Price: $325 1st Adult / $150​ for one additional adult in your party Boats: CFJs, Lasers, or Bytes based on group size. Members of the same party may share a boat. Individual sailors will have the option to sail independently in single-handed boats. Skills: Capsize prevention and recovery, tacking, jibing, launching, landing, wind awareness, safety position, and basic right-of-way rules. After completing this course, you're able to participate in ACSC's Open Sail Saturdays, where you can come back to cruise around in the cove and show off your new skills with friends or family.
