Instructor: Dennis Harkins was a teacher and technology specialist in Pennsylvania schools for over 30 years and an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. He was also a member of the Philadelphia Area Computer Society. He has been with the Center's Tech Section for more than 15 years. Description: This course reviews the essential skills needed to confidently use a Windows PC. The changes introduced by Windows 11 have added new tools and techniques that complicate our daily tasks, but using the mouse and keyboard, managing files and folders, connecting to the internet, and staying safe online are the tools you need most! Our focus is to help you use your laptop or desktop PC for your everyday tasks and keep things as simple as possible. Use laptops provided or bring your own.
