Instructor: Deborah Bruce has been making quilled art for five years. She is a member of the North American Quilling Guild, where she attained several first-place blue ribbons in her skill category at the annual conference. She sells her quilling art in a local art shop, and she also teaches classes. Description: Bring the ancient art of paper filigree to life and learn some of the shapes and techniques needed to turn simple paper strips into beautiful art, ornaments, and home décor. During the course, each participant will practice various methods and then create a greeting card(s) suitable for giving. Manual and fine finger dexterity is helpful.
