Instructor: Debbie Bruce has been making quilled art for six years. She is a member of the North American Quilling Guild, where she has attained several first-place blue ribbons in her skill category at their annual conference. She sells her quilling art in a local art shop and also teaches classes. Description: Bring the ancient art of paper filigree to life and learn some of the shapes and techniques needed to turn simple paper strips into beautiful art, ornaments, and home decor. During the course, each student will practice various methods and then create a beautiful, quilled Christmas tree suitable for framing. Manual and fine finger dexterity is helpful.
