Description

This is one of America's most remarkable art collections and one of the largest in the world amassed by an individual. For 25 years Norton Simon collected European, Asian, and Indian art, as well as contemporary art, bronzes, and sculptures from all eras. We will be having a docent-led tour with an emphasis on Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, as well as a viewing of a special exhibit of "Gold and Its Influence on Art Around the World." We will be having lunch at the Yard House after our 12:00pm tour. Meal is not included in the price of the trip. 2026 Senior Membership is required for this excursion. NOTE: EXTENSIVE WALKING.
