About this event

This ongoing training in Shotokan Karate is a formal traditional Japanese Martial Art focused on training mind, body and spirit. Our training is based on graceful yet powerful fighting techniques good for the body and effective for self- defense. Instruction is highly disciplined, safe and follows the strict formal, traditional Japanese martial art training.

Instructor: Nicolo Caldera has been a Karate & Self-defense instructor in Marin since 2004. In 2018 he was awarded a 3rd Degree Black Belt issued by International Shotokan-Kenkojuku Budokan Karate-Do Honbu Dojo in Toyko. He recently moved with his family to St. Helena and would like to share his passion for the sport of Karate with the community through this free training.
