Thai-Style Peanut Sauce Recipe

1/2 cup all-natural, unsalted creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup organic coconut milk
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 tablespoon raw honey
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
2 teaspoons tamari
1/2 Thai bird chili or jalapeno, seeds and veins removed, and diced
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro, optional

Whisk together all ingredients. Use as a marinade or add to a stir-fry or noodle dish.

Basic Barbecue Sauce Recipe

1 cup unsalted tomato paste
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 white onion, grated
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon ground mustard seeds
1/2 cup water

Place a small saucepan over medium heat, and add all ingredients to the pot. Once the sauce begins to bubble, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until it thickens.
