"World Series" is a fun way to encompass every facet of a regular game in a relaxed environment. The coach will divide his players into two teams. Make a makeshift field in the outfield grass using throw-down bases for the infield and use the regular outfield fence to complete the rest of the "ballpark".
The distance from home plate to the fence should be age appropriate, but fair, as the goal is for players to hit the occasional home run. Play a quick 5-inning game with the losing team in charge of picking up all the equipment at the end of practice.

Keeping things fresh at practice is such a huge energy boost for players. By designing a fast-moving, efficient practice you keep the players' attention and focus for the entire time. You will get more effort and focus from your players by having a practice that moves from station to station rather than a long, slow-moving practice.
Remember: Having some fun at practice with your team will get them excited to return for the next one.
