About This Activity
Make a colorful tote bag from repurposed fabric! Choose scraps and decorations that make it uniquely yours! The bag you make in this camp will be perfect for books, toys, or the beach--you can use it for whatever you need. Some materials will be provided, and you can also bring your own scraps, trims, and buttons to add. We will also learn some simple crochet and stitchery to decorate the bag, and a zipper pocket can also be added for the ambitious. You will learn basic sewing machine skills and lots of hand skills--we will sit and create together! You will learn lots about reusing used fabric to remake new and colorful things.
