*Presented by NYA Partner Abracadabra Productions!* Welcome to a magical week in a not-so-typical summer camp! Campers will learn the art of magic through lessons in misdirection, timing, developing a routine, and showmanship. They will learn how to construct their own props, teamwork, and self-confidence through public speaking. Creativity and storytelling will also be explored. Card tricks, coin tricks and even feats of mindreading will be explained in detail. A part of each day will be dedicated to viewing video footage of present and past masters, helping your camper discover the many facets and performance styles of this great hobby. Campers will have time to participate in outdoor games and activities when not engaged in magic lessons. You will be invited to see a live performance showcasing all the hard work during the Grand Gala Magic Show mid-day on Friday. There is no After Care for Magic Camp on Fridays. You must make a plan for your child to go home after the magic show on Friday For more information about Abracadabra Productions, visit www.abracadabraprod.com or www.facebook.com/abracadaproductions.
