This week, campers will dive into the world of game design, learning the basics of creating their own games using professional tools like GDevelop and Scratch. Through a hands-on game development process, campers will work in teams to design, build, and playtest their own interactive games, exploring key game design principles like player feedback, game loops, and progression. They'll also collaborate using online tools to manage their projects and present their creations. By the end of the week, campers will have the skills and confidence to build their own games, providing them with a glimpse into the exciting world of game development. In the afternoons, campers will enjoy a diverse "mini university experience," rotating between sessions in science, computers, arts and crafts, and recreation. This enriching afternoon programming ensures a well-rounded education, allowing campers to explore various STEAM activities. *This is a 4-Day Camp Week, starting on Tuesday, August 4th due to Civic Holiday and Campus Closers.
