About This Activity

Are you interested in using your programming skills to make a positive impact on the world around you? In this course, you will learn how to design and build games using Python, with a focus on promoting mental health in kids and youth. You will explore how games can be used to build resilience, reduce stress, and promote positive behaviors. You will learn about key concepts in psychology, such as emotional regulation, mindfulness, and positive psychology, and use them to create games that make a difference. You will work on projects that reflect your own interests and passions, and have the opportunity to collaborate with others to make a real-world impact. By the end of the course, you will have gained valuable skills in programming, game design, and psychology, and be able to create games that promote mental health and well-being for those around you. Join us in making a difference through gaming!
