Description
This is a drop-in activity. No registration is required.
Clinic to renew National Lifeguard Certification.
Prerequisite:
- Proof of NL Option to be recertified (need not be current) - You can recertify your NL at anytime. We recommend after 10 years, to take the full course again
- Recommend a current CPR-C and NL
The National Lifeguard Pool certification is designed to develop the fundamental values, judgement, knowledge, skills and fitness required by lifeguards. The National Lifeguard course emphasizes the lifeguarding skills, principles and practices, and decision-making process which will assist the lifeguard to provide effective safety supervision in swimming pool environments.
Please bring:
NL, CPR award cards, manuals, pocket mask, swim suit, towels and something to take notes with and mask to wear when not swimming.
