Civic Dance Arts Adult Advanced Beginner Tap 1B/2A - This class is a progression of the basic taps steps acquired in Tap 1A. It is designed to be a bridge between the basics of Tap 1A and to prepare students for the complexities taught in Tap 2A. Students will continue to build upon the foundation of the previous levels while combing more complex rhythm and combinations. This class includes tap warm ups, dancing across the floor and finishing off with a combination set to music. Tap shoes and proper dance attire required.
All Civic Dance Arts Summer classes will be taught in person following City of San Diego's Current Mask Policy (click link). Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the recreation facilities. All registrations are required to be completed online by 8pm the day before class starts to ensure entrance into the class. As part of the registration process, participants/legal guardians will be required to acknowledge COVID-19 protocols and agree to follow them as part of their enrollment in the program or space reservation. Please make sure that most up to date email and phone contact information is on your dancer’s profile on SDRecConnect.
