Description
The primary purpose of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training course is to provide youth, who want to babysit, with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants.This course helps participants develop: basic child care, leadership skills, build a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, guide children's behavior, and Pediatric CPR and First Aid.
Students will learn the pediatric CPR and First Aid portion through blended learning. The online course combines award-winning, engaging and interactive online simulation learning plus an in-person classroom session to learn and practice critical lifesaving skills for certification.
The student must complete the online portion prior to the in-person class.
