This class uses music and movement to support individuals diagnosed with Dementia, Parkinson's, or other neurological disorders. Together we will stretch, breathe, sing, dance, play instruments, and reminisce to improve communication and motor skills, as well as inspire emotional health and stimulate memory!Level of Instruction: Any Level
Class Outcomes:
- Access a new form of communication
- Learn a new musical skill (singing, playing an instrument)
- Find social connections and support
- Improve emotional and mental wellbeing
- Improve social connection
- Increase individual self-confidence
- Create fun, valuable experience for participants
- Create connection to and within the community
- Facilitating verbal and non-verbal skills
Class Requirements: Please let staff know of any food allergies or medical/behavioral concerns before day of program.
Equipment: All equipment will be supplied.
