Description
This beginner level is for children who either have no water experience or have very little experience and need to become adjusted to the water. Games and songs help teach parents and children the importance of safety while playing in the water. Children will attempt using kicking and arm movements to help prepare them for youth swim lessons. Each child must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
Important Safety Changes for lessons:
- One parent per participant, extra spectators are not allowed.
- We will enter via the 20A entrace to the building, upon entry everyone will have their temp taken. Anyone over 99 will not be able to stay.
- Parents will answer a series of yes, no covid screening questions for their entire family before entering the building.
- Masks must be worn at all times while in the building. Particiants swimming will wear their mask until they enter the pool, once entering the water they may remove their masks.
- Staff will be wearing face shields while in the water teaching, masks will be worn on deck.
- Once lifeguards are stationed in their lifeguard chair they are able to remove their mask while guarding.
- Group lessons will be capped at 4 kids per lesson.
- No more than 4 lessons will be run at one time.
- Restrooms will be avaible for use, showers will be closed.
- If possilbe we are asking parents bring participants already dressed in their clothes to swim to avoid potential congestion in the locker room.
- No one will be able to enter the building for their lesson until 10 min prior.
- Everyone is expected to use social distancing while at swim lessons.
