About This Activity

Description

In this program participants will explore elements and priciples of design like movement, balance, contrast, etc. They will explore additive and subtractive techniques to further develop and enhance their work. This program will support both hand and wheel techniques. Intermediate to advanced. Skip Dates: Apr 4 & May 30.


Supplies needed: Bring your own clay tools or purchase one at the LCAC for $20 + tax. Clay may be purchased at the LCAC and is $20 + tax per 25-pound bag. A variety of clays are available. Basic tools are available for purchase or students may bring their own. Class fee includes glazes, most firings, and open studio time. There is a fee for re-fires & oversize work. You may not take glaze home. Small storage lockers are available for $20 per year.
