Dates: 07/07/2025 - 07/11/2025 Times: M - F, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Location: Rice University Grades: 3rd to 5th Price: $499/week* *Participants receive a t-shirt, lanyard, & certificate! Extended care available: $200/Week Lunch is not included. Participants will need to bring their lunch and a refillable water bottle daily. * A $3.00 administrative processing fee will be applied to your registration upon checkout. The Rice Office of STEM Engagement and Rice Athletics offer week-long STEM/Athletic day camps during the summer for current 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade (2024-2025 school year) students. STEM-Letics camps are designed to keep students both mentally and physically active during the summer. Students explore different forms of energy, physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering through active exploration activities in the classroom and on the playing field. The day is split between engineering challenges using sustainable and recyclable materials and sports activities that focus on teamwork. You are welcome to register for multiple weeks of STEM-Letics. Content and lessons for STEM-Letics Academy does not repeat, and each week and theme will be different for Weeks A, B and C. Right click here to apply for scholarships STEM-Letics Extended Care: Extended care is offered for an additional fee of $200/week for Mon.-Fri. from 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is only for students enrolled in STEM-Letics. Space is limited to 20 participants per week. Participants will join other students of similar age groups participating in Rice summer camps. Participants will be escorted by R-STEM staff to the Rice recreation center for scheduled, engaging activities each day.
