About This Activity
Instructor: Derris Dabbs Discover the art of storytelling through movement in this 4-week digital animation class for ages 9–13! Aspiring animators will dive into the basics of digital animation, exploring character creation, storyboarding, and the magic of frame-by-frame motion. Using Procreate animation software, students will bring their imaginative ideas to life on screen. Throughout the course, participants will design unique characters and craft their own animated sequences, gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the animation process. Perfect for beginners, this class is all about creativity, innovation, and having fun with digital tool iPads and Apple Pencils are provided by the MACC, but you are welcome to bring your own.
