About this event
Learn basic metalsmith jewelry fabrication skills to create an elegant bezel-set pendant. This is a great beginner's workshop and an excellent introduction to making jewelry. We’ll learn to use the jewelers saw and basic soldering techniques to construct a pendant out of sterling silver and copper. Students will also fashion a bail so they can wear the pendant on a variety of different chains. Students are invited to bring any cabochons, between a nickel and quarter in size, they may have for design consideration. The instructor will also have a selection of cabochons available for purchase.
