About this event
Over the course of the next five weeks we will be looking at important painting fundamentals like painting design, values, under painting, accuracy and color studies that will elevate your painting skills. Following the light in a painting composition is crucial for smooth transitions from highlights to mid tones to darker values. We will be paying particular attention to light in this course. You can pick a subject matter of your own choosing, portrait, still life or landscape. Try and pick a reference image with strong lights and darks ( sunrise, sunset, or strong highlights if it’s a portrait or still life). Painting experience is preferred but not essential.
