Camp Name: THE TEMPEST: Shakespeare Production Acting Camp Director: Claire Chandler Format: One week acting intensive, culminating in a performance of "The Tempest." Eligibility: Open to students in rising grades 6-12. Schedule: June 9-14 (M-Sat) 9 AM-4 PM, M-Th 9 AM-7:45 PM, Fri - Performance at 7 PM 12:30-5 PM, Sat - Performances at 2 & 4 PM Suitability: Ideal for beginners to Shakespeare, returning campers, and those with advanced acting training. Casting Sessions: Potential in-person or Zoom meetings for casting, or video options if not available for the former options. Technical Theatre Camp: Running concurrently, assisting with costumes, sets, sound, and technical elements (registration is separate). Communication: Updates and information to be shared via the camp BAND group. Cost: Variable pricing options available; camp fee does not include performance tickets. Registration Perk: Includes a DMR T-shirt if registered by June 1.
