About This Activity
Jellyfish, sharks, and mammals, oh my -- join us for a week of thrilling animal adventures! Spend each day learning about the unique adaptations of the animals that inhabit Monterey Bay. Observe otter lifestyles while kayaking at the Elkhorn Slough, explore the adaptations of sharks and deep sea creatures at night, dig for invertebrates in the swash zone, and get eye to eye with local sea life at Monterey Bay Aquarium. Meet fellow ocean-lovers and advocates along the way as we surf, boogie board, and adventure together! Campers must be able to swim. Activities: surfing (gear provided), kayaking, visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium, sand crab studies, boogie boarding, marine mammal artifacts, shark night hike, deep sea investigation Registration includes meals and 4 nights stay at Stevenson School, and a Camp SEA Lab T-shirt
