At Wize Computing Academy , we use tested & proven curriculum to help students develop into logical thinkers, problem solvers and future creators. Session #1: Engineering and Robotics Students create and code robots, and learn to apply important concepts like light & sound sensors, gears, pulleys, axles and levers etc. Students program and debug in real time applying the concepts learnt in class and then transition into the world of electrical engineering & robotics. Great class for engineers of tomorrow!! Session # 2 : Animation adventures with Scratch Students will be creating stories using Scratch. Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) is a wonderful tool for teaching coding in a fun way! Scratch is a programming language and an online community where children can program and share interactive media such as stories, games, and animation with people from all over the world. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. Scratch is designed and maintained by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.
