Come enjoy 300+ acres of pristine woods, limestone bluffs, and hidden creeks on the St. Stephen's Episcopal School campus. Become a stronger mountain bike rider and learn the essentials of the trail-building industry, one of the fastest-growing outdoors professions in the country and across the world. This camp will introduce riders to intermediate and advanced MTB skills, including technical climbing / rock trials, riding wood skinnies, dirt jumping, cornering/descending, progressive drops, and advanced bike handling skills (track stands, bunny hops, wheelies, stoppies/endos, manuals). Throughout the week the 201 and 301 groups will come together to work on a complex trail-building project, the Devil's Rim Trail. You'll learn a variety of designs/techniques and build muscle while moving rock, dirt, and wood around a gnarly canyon buried deep in the St. Stephen's campus. (Note: We place a high priority on safety and risk management throughout the 201/301 camps. Careful orientation on tools and expert supervision during building projects are the keys to our success.) Newer riders should take Shredding 101 and keep the 201/301 camp in mind for future years. Advanced Beginner to Low-Intermediate riders are also encouraged to register for Shredding 101 and/or take 101 as a refresher to prepare for 201. We guarantee you'll be challenged!
