Get the insider scoop on Mote research at Mote Marine Laboratory’s newest satellite campus at the Anna Maria Island City Pier. After a guided tour of Mote’s Marine Science Education and Outreach Center, participants will take a stroll down the pier and the beach to learn about the local flora and fauna and be introduced to the rich history of Anna Maria Island. Every participant, age 3 through adult must register. IMPORTANT NOTE: This program does NOT take place at Mote Aquarium. This program takes place at MOTE'S MARINE SCIENCE EDUCATION & OUTREACH CENTER on Anna Maria Pier, 100 N Bay Blvd, Anna Maria, FL 34216. - This is an outdoor program - We highly recommend sun protection (sunglasses, hat, long sleeved sun shirt, sunscreen etc.) as well as comfy clothes and shoes for walking. - Closed toe water shoes or shoes that can get wet (no flip flops please) - Reusable water bottle is recommended. - At least one paying adult chaperone is required for every 4 youth participants. All adults in attendance must be registered. Registration onsite is NOT available. - Price is per participant (all ages). This is NOT a drop-off program, parents/guardians must be paid registrants. There are NO REFUNDS for this program unless Mote cancels the program. In the event Mote has to cancel your program, we will notify you by email as soon as possible and give you the option of a credit that can be applied to a future program or a refund in full minus a $5.00 processing fee per registration.
