Diminished Light 101 Most attacks occur at night or in diminished light conditions. Isn't it time you learned how to fight at night with your firearm?!? This 4 hour course is designed for the use of handheld lighting tools, weapon mounted lights and lasers. This course will have a classroom portion to learn about lighting conditions, how the eyes work in diminished light, lighting tools, night sights, lasers, pros and cons of all the different types of sighting systems used in diminished light and much more. As with our Room Clearing courses, we will use the crawl, walk, run method of teaching, working a corner or a doorway then a room and hallway. We will use multiple obstacles, cover and concealment as well as multiple rooms to show you how to use a lighting tool in these spaces. The class drills will consist of lit conditions, diminishing light, no light, flashlights, and ambient light. We will introduce use of a long gun into scenarios with lit conditions, diminishing light, no light, flashlights and ambient light. You will learn how to search and clear with a lighting tool. Prerequisites - This course is for the experienced handgun user. Student must be proficient with their firearm in handling it. You should have completed either the Room Clearing or Movements and Tactics class to be up to speed for this course. Course cost $150.00 we supply everything you need for this course these courses are held at our training academy using our indoor structure in a climate controlled environment
