Structures 4th & 5th Graders, Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. $280 Regular $252 Reduced for students regularly enrolled in Summit Afterschool during this class Sept 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16, 30, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 4, 11 No classes on Oct 23 and Nov 27 Led by Steve Hastings, local architect. Learn what makes a “structure” and the different structures we encounter daily. Build and test structural elements out of cardboard that demonstrate certain structural principles. No prior experience is required. This class will help those interested in more advanced Design & Technology classes in the future. Parents are invited to see the small student-built cardboard shelter at 3:15 on the last day of class.
