Playmakers 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders, Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. $280 Regular $252 Reduced for students regularly enrolled in Summit Afterschool during this class Sept 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16, 30, Nov 6, 13, 20, Dec 4, 11 No classes on Oct 23 and Nov 27 Taught by Jeffrey Payton, UNCG BFA Acting graduate and UNCSA HS Drama Alum. In this class, we will explore basic theatre and acting concepts through a variety of games, exercises, and ongoing conversations. Learn to honor and follow your instincts as well as grow your self-confidence. Take part in script analysis, figuring out what a character wants and how they go about getting what they want. Most importantly, nurture a playful and inquisitive nature to consume and produce art! There is no final performance for this class. The focus is on development and fun.
