Description
This course will provide an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines; and also, injury prevention content.
Blended learning: combines online learning and in-person skills session. Registration cut off is one week prior to the in-class date. Candidates must have a valid email address to register. This comprehensive 8.5 hour course is comprised of a 4 hour online study session and a 4.5 hour in class skills evaluation session. The online portion of this program must be completed before the in-class portion.
Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.

The following items must be purchased in order to participate: • 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve • 6 pairs of latex-free gloves • 2 roller gauzes • 5 triangular bandages • 10 gauze pads • 1 golf pencil • 1 silver mylar blanket.
You may choose to purchase a leadership kit ($38.99) containing these supplies at this facility or alternatively, you may purchase them on your own.
100 % attendance and participation are required.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the course. All required textbooks are included in course fee. No refunds after online access granted. Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.
