Description
This course will provide an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines; and also, injury prevention content.
Blended Learning: Combines online learning and in-person skills session. Registration cut off is one week prior to the in-class date. Candidates must have a valid email address to register. Online component is sent out one week prior to in-class session.
This comprehensive 8.5 hour course is comprised of a 4 hour online study session and a 4.5 hour in class skills evaluation session. The online portion of this program must be completed before the in-class portion.
Awards are issued to the candidate electronically through email. Certification of this award is for 3 years.

The following items must be purchased in order to participate.• 1 CPR pocket mask with a 1-way valve• 6 pairs of latex-free gloves• 2 roller gauzes• 5 triangular bandages• 10 gauze pads• 1 golf pencil• 1 silver mylar blanket.
You may choose to purchase a leadership kit containing these supplies at this facility or alternatively you may purchase on your own.100 % attendance and participation are required.
Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing to the course. All required texts are included in course fee. Leadership Kit Sold Separately.
