Face Fanaticsw/Veronica McLaughlinAdults and Teens welcomeTuesdays, November 5, 12 and 19In this workshop each artist will be given the opportunity to create with clay while navigating multiple techniques in the ceramic studio. We will be throwing on the potter's wheel, altering clay to hand-build facial features, as well as creating handles and learning how to finish pots. Come express yourself whether your face mug is meant to spread smiles or scare others off, all creativity is encouraged! This fast-paced workshop will give each new artist a confident step into the clay studio or, give the seasoned artist some tricks and tips to take into their own practice. All levels of ceramic experience are welcome.
Workshop includes glazes and firing fees for work completed in the workshop, plus 10 lbs. of 182 clay.
